The quality and taste of a good olive oil depends on the ripeness of the olives.
This fine, mildly fruity and cold pressed ORGANIC olive oil is made from hand-picked Koroneiki olives and comes from the Pelpponnes region of Greece, where the olives are lovingly cultivated and carefully harvested on small family-run farms.
The family gives the olives the time they need to fully ripen and only harvests them in December/January, even in unpleasant weather if need be. By then the olives are almost black in colour. They are processed at about 25°C, so the raw food quality is fully retained!
The native olive oil of our Greek supplier is ideally suitable for preparing salads and other raw food delights. Vita Verde olive oilcontains valuable minerals, vitamins A and E, is rich in simple unsaturated fatty acids such as Omega 9, and is free from cholesterol. Have fun preparing your raw food recipes!
