Keimling Spirulina vital substances in a

As a type of microalgae, Spirulina was among the first
creatures on earth, originating more than 3.5 billion years ago. Its
genetic code carries the experience of millions of years of evolution. It is at
the bottom of the food chain, thus accumulating almost no harmful substances.
The Aztecs already knew the value of Spirulina and naturally
integrated it into their nutrition. The Mayas grew Spirulina, supplying it to 2
million people. The Kanembus in Africa have always consumed Spirulina. In modern
times, Spirulina has become increasingly popular around the world.
Spirulina is well-known for the good organically bonded iron
that it supplies (chelat), and it is easily exploited AND well tolerated by the
human organism. Keimling Spirulina contains considerable amounts of the
particularly important pigment phycocyanine. Well-known scientists are
convinced that this significant ingredient explains the worldwide success of
Spirulina. Chlorophyll, an interesting component of microalgae, serves as a sun
storehouse and energy carrier. Chlorophyll only differs from human haemoglobin
by one atom (see table).

of vital substances in an interesting concentration : high-grade
protein, essential amino acids, mineral compounds, trace elements, enzymes, etc.
Our Spirulina may contain small traces of iodine.
The vital substances are the perfect complement for each other

parts. The cell walls are comprised of easily digestible polysacharides, meaning
that the nutrients they contain are easily exploited and do not strain the

seaweed and turmeric, a spice valued in Ayurveda. Lithothamnium calcareum
seaweed contains minerals and trace elements of seawater in a natural compound.
It is harvested from the cleanest Atlantic water off the coast of Western
Ireland. Lithothamnium calcareum is a source of calcium, iron and numerous
different minerals and trace elements from the sea. Being highly soluble, the
bivalent iron compound is 15-35% resorbable, which means it has a high
bioavailability. Turmeric has been prized in India and in Ayurveda for
thousands of years. It protects the nutrients and antioxidants in Spirulina.
