The normal roasting temperatures of industrially processed cocoa beans are between 100°C and 140°C. Keimling cocoa products are dried gently at a maximum temperature of 45°C. The variety of cocoa we use "Nacional Arriba Fino de Aroma" is reputed to be the one with the most pleasant aroma. The dark brown colour and slightly herb bitter taste of the nibs – with a hint of blossom and fruit aroma – make this delicious raw food gift of nature both unique and versatile at the same time.
Let your creativity run loose when using them! The gentle drying process at max. 45°C ensures the full unadulterated aroma of the delicious raw cocoa. Ideal for making chocolate confectionary, raw food cake bases, smoothies, chocolate puddings, ice-cream and much, much more!
