Bitter apricot seeds
From Pakistan. Wild gathering.
As with their cousins, the almonds, some apricots have sweet and
some have bitter seeds. The bitter seeds are extracted from a sweet-sour type of
apricots and are high in amygdalin (laetril).
Especially important: Chew and insalivate
well, best done together with dried apricots.
CAUTION! Seeds contain hydrocyanic acid. Can
cause symptoms of poisoning.
Store out of reach for children.
Recommendation: Do not consume more than 2 seeds daily.
